Sales Development Representative (SDR)


Zubie is an IoT, connected-car services, telematics, and data insights leader. Based in Bloomington, MN, Zubie powers business enterprises with real-time information about vehicles and drivers. Its solutions are tailored for the fleet, rental, automotive, and insurance industries, as well as small businesses.


The Zubie Sales Development Representative role will be assigned segment responsibilities to grow penetration, subscriber growth and revenue. This is an inside sales opportunity in a fun and energetic SaaS environment. The role is located at Zubie HQ in Bloomington, MN.

The candidate should have a strong background in automotive, telematics and sales, but other SaaS experience may apply. Strong analytical, interpersonal and ability to work independently are critical. Demonstrated sales success a must.

Directly responsible for daily contact with small/medium fleet clients, follow up on aggressive phone and email campaigns. Specific monthly goals of direct contact quantity and appointment setting with prospective fleet clients.

Organizational Structure:

The Zubie Sales Development Representative role will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer as part of a sales organization that involves both inside- and outside-sales resources. This is an inside sales opportunity with high call volume and outreach expected daily.

Key Measurements of Success:

  • Success within this role will be measured across multiple dimensions:
  • Overall phone volume and ability to set scheduled demonstrations
  • Target new prospect within assigned categories
  • Meet all minimum requirements for weekly appointment activity
  • Quantity of new Subscriber growth each month
  • Consistent and relentless prospect outreach and and lead nurturing via phone and email
  • Current client renewal penetration for small accounts
  • Quantity of client calls and product demonstrations
  • Complete the timely entry of all required sales documentation into Companies CRM (HubSpot)
  • Maintain HubSpot with proper status and opportunity scope (prior experience with HubSpot is preferred)
  • Develop and maintain effective product demonstration skills and presentation materials


This position can/will transition into an Account Executive upon successfully proving the value and growth to Zubie.
